This Max4Live instrument enables the simultaneous playback of four sample buffers of arbitrary length, with up to 16 voice polyphony - drag and drop samples from the live browser - an X/Y pad provides control over the overall mix between the four loaded samples - automated sample start position provides a level of unpredictability and variety to sample playback - independent loop and pitch bend for each sample - independent filtered delay lines for each sample - option to normalise files on import
- 3 fx stages based on step sequencing * frequency modulator modulating the input with a raw and gloomy carrier * crusher crushing bit depth resolution + sample rate of the input * dirty delay delaying and modulating the feedback on very uncanny manners
- independant step sequencers for audio-channels L/R
- global bypass switch
- global dry/wet
- master shaper envelope based with retriggering rate

This is the homework #1 in which you’ll learn several tricks to add more variations into this boring 4/4 world. This device is still available at http://designthemedia.com/uncannysequencer
An audio effect somewhere between a ring modulator and a decimator. It grabs very small chunks of the input sound and treats them in a bad way (a bit hard to explain but a simple algorithm, take a look inside). Max 6 is mandatory as it uses Gen~.
